Wallace Webb Wins Pool Tournament.

On February 25, 1997, the Knowles/Donaldson Pool Tournament was 
held at the Knowles Senior Center.  Sixteen participants battled 
for five hours before the final victorious shoot fell in the far 
corner pocket. 

Wallace Webb decisioned Charles Farrar in the championship match 
three games to two.  Likewise, Charles Lester defeated Bob Neal 
in the consolation match three games to two.  Both matches 
produced many fine shots, crafty position play, and a few shots 
that seemed to be guided by lady luck.  But in the end, Wallace 
Webb added four scalps and a first place trophy to his collection.
